Thursday night at 7 pm Dalton Publishing is hosting a special event at the cafe. Local performers and authors will present excerpts from the book Stricken:The 5000 Stages of Grief , a collection of essays edited by award-winning authors and Austinites Spike Gillespie and Katherine Tanney
Author Victoria Zackheim says:
“These beautifully crafted essays offer a heartrending, revealing, and sometimes even hilarious glimpse into dying, death, and getting on with our lives.” Come see the authors in person and hear them read their own moving words in their own voice.
You’ll cry, you’ll laugh, you’ll eat dessert. Don’t miss it.
